Typical Application Scenarios
-
Energy monitoring and billing points in low-voltage distribution boards (e.g., factories, commercial buildings)
-
Current sensing for smart power cabinets, sub-distribution units or panel-mounted switchgear for industrial automation
-
Integration with power monitoring systems, PLCs, or smart grid monitoring devices requiring high-precision CTs
-
Export projects (EPC, OEM) where global certification and reliable performance across wide temperature & altitude conditions are required
-
Retrofit or new installations where a compact, high-accuracy CT with project-friendly customization options is valuable
Installation & Usage Guidelines
-
Ensure the CT is installed with correct polarity (H1/H2 on primary, X1/X2 on secondary) so downstream metering/monitoring devices read correctly
-
Match the CT ratio to the expected load current range; selecting a ratio significantly above the actual load may impair low‐current accuracy
-
The CT secondary circuit must not be left open when the primary is energized — always ensure a proper burden is connected to avoid high voltage risks
-
Verify installation location meets operating temperature and altitude ratings (-40 °C to +150 °C, ≤4,000 m)
-
Choose the correct aperture size (23/31/45 mm) based on conductor or busbar dimensions to simplify panel layout
-
For metering applications, ensure the burden (meter + wiring) is within rated load to maintain the specified accuracy class
